Righteous Among
the Nations
Margita Report
Margita Dovlevová (Straková), together with her parents Ján and Karolína, hid my grandfather Eliyahu Ernst Grünwald (together with his friend, Eugen Mermelstein) in the village of Beladice in Slovakia. Margita paid a heavy price for her actions and was brutally interrogated by the Gestapo.
With great respect and admiration, and with a desire to illuminate the noble actions of Margita and her parents, I have decided to title the report in her name.
Some important points!
- The entire report (data) is extracted from the shared database of the
Righteous Among the Nations Database in Wikidata.
- The entire report (visual items) does not attempt to express any opinion towards any individual or political entity. Its purpose is solely to provide expression and recognition to the small light that sparkles within the great darkness of the Jewish Holocaust.
- Although all the data belongs to the "Yad Vashem" organization, the organization itself has no connection to the report and it is not published according to their judgment. The report is solely a private initiative.

Regarding the number of citizenships,An attempt been made to link citizenships that no longer exist (such as the Kingdom of Italy, the Kingdom of Bulgaria, Cisleithania, and others) to the countries that inherted them.
- An exceptional case is Austria-Hungary, where I found that attempting to attribute all its Righteous to a single successor country may introduce excessive data errors. Therefore, it is presented as a separate country, even though it did not exist as a political entity during World War II.
